Traditional market

During our trip to Ciwidey we had the opportunity to visit a traditional market, not meant for tourists, but where the locals do their shopping. Sunday morning at 07.00 AM we went on our way to the market. The sky was clear and it was already quite hot at that time in the morning. On our way to the market we saw the Sunday morning aerobics! Amazing! But understandable as the temperatures later at the day are to high to do aerobics in the open air.

The roads are dirty and wet, the food properly displayed! The market is still quiet, so great to take pictures.

Chicken feet!

The people are, as everywhere in Indonesia, very friendly and always smiling! They like it if you take a photo of them and they warn each other to get an photo as well! Clearly an area where not many tourists are coming!

I could have spent many more hours on this market then the 50 minutes we took as the rest of the group was waiting for us!

Great experience!
