Three weeks!

Today it is three weeks ago that I arrived in Indonesia. Half way of my total stay in this beautiful country where many flowers represent the colors of the national flag!!

We worked hard on our final presentation with all our recommendations, prioritization of the initiatives and  prepare a roadmap for DISKOMINFO so that they can start the implementation of the recommendations. We worked quite concentrated until lunch although we heard the usual prayer calls.

Prayer calls start early on Friday, first you hear only one prayer call, but as it runs closer to noon, more and more prayer calls are all mixed together. When we went out for lunch shortly after noon, people were praying outside in front of the building as the little prayer hall in the office is too small to house all the people. We had to carefully jump over all the shoes to be able to leave the office grounds.
The prayers are fully integrated with work, particular on Fridays, but also on the other week days we clearly hear the prayer calls which are shorter than the Friday ones.

We had our lunch in the KIOSK, one of the better places near the office. I had a delicious rujak, mixed fruit with specie sauce. Together with a guava juice it was a perfect lunch!

In the afternoon we proceeded with the presentation making. Just half an hour before we had to leave, Pak Purnomo returned from a trip so that we could validate some things! We are going in the right direction!

A good start of the weekend, which we will enjoy in Cidiwey, a 2-3 hour drive from Bandung, so no blog tomorrow. It will be our last weekend together as Team CSC Indonesia 4!
